A versatile stacking, linking, mass-use chair used in lecture theatres, or wherever space is short.

The row spacing can be compressed and because of it’s tip up seat the footprint is very much smaller than other chairs of it’s type.

Ambit Studio was originally set up by Robert Heritage CBE RDI, as a design consultancy specialising in the design of Furniture, Lighting and Architectural products for the contract and home markets.

Paul worked both independently on projects as Heritage Design and also closely with his father, for many years, as a Director of Ambit Studio.

Paul Heritage Studio, set up in 2012, continues to work with both new and established clients.

Working for some of the leading lighting companies in the architectural field, the studio has been involved in most aspects of lighting design, ranging from track to spots to fluorescent linear systems, using most types of light sources.

The relationship with Concord Lighting spanned decades and also pioneered several lighting firsts, including the use of spotlights to be used on tracks, which has since transformed the way that light can used in retail and commercial applications. As well as the spots, the studio has designed and developed a number of track systems and adaptors over the years.
